Vans are moving retail products in preparation for Black Friday and reefers are hauling fresh food ahead of Thanksgiving. Rates, however, have remained fairly stable. Permian gas flaring reaches yet another high

Flaring and venting of natural gas in the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico reached a new all-time high in the third quarter of 2019, averaging more than 750 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd), according to a preliminary analysis conducted by Rystad Energy.
Intermodal downturn continues in Q3

Total intermodal volumes dropped 3.7 percent year-over-year in the third quarter of 2019, according to the Intermodal Association of North America's Intermodal Market Trends & Statistics report.
