30th Annual AAR Research Review

"MxV Rail Brings the Rail Industry Together to Share Knowledge, Advance Technology

October 21, 2024, Pueblo, CO – The Association of American Railroads (AAR) and MxV Rail announced today that registration is open for its esteemed annual conference. The conference brings together Class I and short line railroads, university partners, and suppliers from all over the world to solve the rail industry’s greatest technical challenges.

The 30th Annual AAR Research Review will take place April 29 – May 1, 2025, in Pueblo, CO. It will include technical workshops at the Pueblo Convention Center and interaction in the field at MxV Rail’s FAST® loop track walk.

Early registration guarantees a seat at the table and an Early Bird discount of $100 off the standard registration.

5 Reasons to Attend AAR Research Review

1. AAR’s Strategic Research Initiatives (SRI) program will demonstrate a new digital twin of the FAST® loop and report out from across its research portfolio.

2. MxV Rail experts will be there to guide you along every inch of the track walk and discuss their research projects underway in this unique rail test environment.

3. Industry’s collective investment in SRI research continues to drive results for railway safety, reliability, and efficiency—and you’ll hear it here first.

4. Early career railroaders benefit from hands-on sessions designed to deepen your expertise in vehicle/track interaction, simulation software, and more.

5. Sponsors have multiple opportunities to socialize with attendees, present capabilities, and increase your brand visibility.

Attendees continue to rave about their experience in 2024. “While the Research Review is a big deal for us every year, celebrating the 30th edition will make it extra special in 2025,” said Scott Cummings, MxV Rail AVP Research & Innovation. From the keynote addresses to technical presentations to exploring research active in the field, AAR’s Annual Research Review is an experience you don’t want to miss.

Make plans now to sponsor or attend in April 2025.
