Amsterdam - Netherlands
The maritime industry has been slow to act on decarbonization despite IMO30 and IMO50 targets, but with non-compliance carrying financial penalties starting in 2025 due to EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime impacting all large ships operating in Europe, and we look to spring 2025 as IMO are set to release their midterm measures, the urgency is now undeniable. These regulations force immediate action, but individual stakeholders can’t tackle alone.
Over the past decade, we’ve built a strong community through the LNG Bunkering and Future Fuels Global Summit, and as the industry’s focus on decarbonisation intensifies, we’ve expanded our scope to reflect this shift. The Global Maritime Decarbonization Summit will now encompass not only the original LNG brand and community, but also will include a methanol, ammonia and other alternatives event, alongside a broader stream on digitalization and decarbonization beyond the fuel.
