TCC - MARS January Joint Executive Series Luncheon

The Traffic Club of Chicago in conjunction with the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers Presents...

This Executive Series Luncheon will be a joint event with the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS). It will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center.

Guest Speaker: Alan Shaw, President & CEO of Norfolk Southern Corporation

Mr. Shaw has been Chief Executive Officer at Norfolk Southern Corporation since May 1, 2022, and President since December 1, 2021. Mr. Shaw previously served as Norfolk Southern's Executive Vice President and Cheif Marketing Officer, Vice President of Intermodal Operations, and has been with Norfolk Southern in various positions since 1994.

Mr. Shaw is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (1989) and an MBA in Finance (1992). He also graduated from the General Management Program at Harvard Business School (2012) and earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (1997) from the Association for Investment of Management Research.
