On May 20, 2019, Pat Anderson and Dr. David Willard were sworn in as Port of Beaumont Commissioners by Port Director Chris Fisher. Anderson will represent Ward 2, marking the start of his second term in office, and Willard will represent the community at-large, marking the start of his first term in office. “The Port of Beaumont is excited about the unprecedented level of growth we have experienced over the last several years and we know the addition of Dr. David Willard and the continued service of Pat Anderson will help keep our port growing,” says Port Director Chris Fisher.

In a statement Commissioner Anderson said, “It is an honor to be re-elected as Commissioner for the Port of Beaumont. I have learned so much in the last six years and look forward to the next six years as we continue to grow. I believe that serving our community is very important, especially since it has been my home for the last 72 years. I also want to say thank you to the people who supported me throughout this process. I will do and give my best for the Port of Beaumont to make sure I am representing the people of our area well.
We have a great Port staff and Port Director and a proactive Board of Commissioners. I am looking forward working with our new commissioner, Dr. Willard, and moving our Port forward.”
