Aramex, the total transportation and logistics solutions provider, has boosted its operations in Canada with the opening of an office in country's business and commercial heartland, Toronto.

Situated right on the city's international airport, the Toronto operation will be offering a full range of air and ocean services. The expansion of Aramex's Canadian services ' which already operate in Montreal - follows the company's global expansion plan which seeks to establish additional presence in key markets around the world.

Shannon Thompson, who leads the new team in Toronto, is an experienced logistics professional who is well known in the Canadian freight community from her 10 years at PBB, particularly in her most recent position as National Manager Air and Ocean Products. She has worked in both Vancouver and Toronto previously and brings a wide knowledge of the logistics business across Canada to her new role with Aramex.

Commenting on the new Toronto facility, Aramex Senior VP Camille Nasrallah says: "Our international credentials are being further enhanced as we develop our own operations in key international destinations such as Toronto. The growth of the office since we opened our doors last month has been tremendous and we believe this will be a stepping stone to opening other north American locations in the coming months and years.'
