Today, the Alliance for Aviation Across America applauded the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of the National Center for the Advancement of Aviation Act (H.R.3428). The bill, introduced by Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), passed in the House with a vote of 369 to 56.
The legislation would establish the National Center for the Advancement of Aviation to serve as a national independent forum to facilitate collaboration and cooperation between aviation and aerospace stakeholders to support and promote civil and military aviation and aerospace.
According to a study by Boeing, over the next 20 years, over 2 million new personnel, 602,000 pilots, and 610,000 technicians will be needed to meet the growing demand for travel and tourism.
