Engineered Transportation International (EnTrans) announced its Juarez Trailer Operations was awarded the 2021 Plant Safety Award by the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA). The award was presented at TTMA’s annual convention in Scottsdale, AZ.

Juarez Trailer Operations was recognized in the “A” category, which includes manufacturing plants that have over 750,000 labor hours per year. TTMA has been awarding Plant Safety awards for 49 years. Award winners are selected based on an evaluation and ranking taken from injury data recorded on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) annual injury reports. The Juarez facility achieved lower-than-industry averages in three areas: Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR); Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART); and Lost Workday Case Incidence Rate (LWIR).

“Receiving this industry recognition of our safety performance is an honor, and I am proud of the Juarez team for their dedication to working safely,” said Ryan Rockafellow, CEO, Engineered Transportation International. “Safety is a top priority and one of our core values at EnTrans. We remain focused on safety at every one of our facilities.”
