Germany’s maritime traffic is likely to take a hit from sanctions on Russia, the Federal Statistics Office said Tuesday. Data through November show the country was German seaports’ most important partner in 2021, ahead of Sweden and China. Trade volume with Russia amounted to 24.1 million metric tons in the period, 9% of all goods transported to and from German ports.
