Cushman & Wakefield announced JAG Logistics Center @ DEN, a new 250-acre industrial park being developed immediately south of Denver International Airport (DEN) at the NWC of 64th and Powhaton  in Aurora, Colorado has fully leased its first building, Trade 1, and signed TruTeam as its first tenant for its second building, Trade 2.

TruTeam, a leading installer of insulation and building products for homebuilders, commercial builders and homeowners recently signed a lease for 24,830 square feet (sf) at the Trade 2 building that is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. TruTeam was represented by Alex Foley of the Swearingen Realty Group.

JAG Logistics Center @ DEN is privately owned, developed and managed by JAGreen Development LLC (JAG), which is known for its prominence in the airport-adjacent development niche. The company’s headquarters are also located within the project.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Aaron Valdez, Alec Rhodes and Tyler Smith lead Project Leasing efforts and represented the landlord in all transactions to-date at JAG Logistics Center @ DEN.

Trade 1 is a 188,000-sf cross-dock and column-free warehouse building completed in summer 2020. Last spring the project announced that tenants Air General and a second undisclosed international cargo and logistics company had leased 127,000 sf, or nearly 70 percent of the building. Trade 1 has since also added Fraser Trucking Inc. and A-1 Freeman Moving and Storage LLC to bring Trade I to 100% occupancy. Trade 2, which TruTeam will occupy, consists of a 188,000-sf cross-dock and column-free warehouse building.

“We are very pleased at the level of activity and quality of tenants we have welcomed at JAG Logistics Center @ DEN and in such a short period of time—particularly given the challenges we have all faced during the pandemic,” said Aaron Valdez. “The Denver market has never seen an industrial building designed like this in the entire marketplace.  Our consistent leasing activity speaks to the efficiency and functionality of the building, which is something our tenants have all really appreciated.”

“We continue to see enormous potential for our JAG @ DEN industrial project which has already exceeded our expectations. I am so proud of the efforts of the entire JAG Team, including our CW Partners and the City of Aurora for all their support.  For eighty years, JAGreen has developed high quality industrial facilities across the United States. JAG @ DEN is the next chapter in our company’s storied history,” said Dan Green, CEO/Co-Managing Partner of JAGreen Development LLC.

“We’re thrilled about this important milestone for JAG Logistics Center,” said Wendy Mitchell, President and CEO of the Aurora Economic Development Council.  “Due to this type of quality development, Aurora continues to attract primary employers and remain a leader in the industrial market.”
