CLI continues its commitment to “doing well by doing good” by supporting its long standing tradition of giving back
Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI), veteran providers of freight management software for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) fleets, today announced that it has made a donation to Autism Speaks in honor of Geoffrey Muessig, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at PITT OHIO. Muessig, who spoke at a recent networking event for CLI clients as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebration, asked that a donation be made to the charity in lieu of any honorarium.
Carrier Logistics is celebrating its golden anniversary throughout the year with special events, new initiatives and various commemorations. At its recent networking event in New York City, Muessig detailed the issues and opportunities facing the industry today in a presentation on Meeting the Challenges Facing LTL Head-On.
During the event, Ed Russo, manager of field development for NY at Autism Speaks, was on hand to accept the donation. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, Autism Speaks sponsors research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions, and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public.
