CIRCLE Group ("CIRCLE”) - Group specialized in the analysis and development of innovative digitization solutions for port and intermodal logistics and in international consultancy with focus on Green Deal and energy transition headed by CIRCLE S.p.A., innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market organized and managed by Borsa Italiana - has secured the victory in the tender issued by the European Maritime Safety Agency (“EMSA”) to evaluate the feasibility of developing a Maritime National Single Window (“MNSW”) for a group of beneficiaries within the context of European neighboring countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, and Ukraine).
The contract has been awarded at a price of € 144,000.
Thanks to its expertise and vast experience in maritime and IT fields, CIRCLE will lead in alliance with Open Plan Consulting a consortium of top maritime experts in the maritime sector bringing several assets:
a strong track record of successfully executing Reporting Formalities projects at both the EU and international levels, such as the Anna project and DG MOVE tenders, as well as initiatives in Africa, Indian Ocean, and Pakistan
• comprehensive knowledge of existing systems in use, encompassing maritime single windows, port community systems, trade single windows, customs single windows, and global supply chain visibility systems
• a combination of IT design, delivery, and operations expertise, particularly in Port Community Systems, coupled with a distinguished international consultancy background in IT for maritime, port, and logistics, including policy aspects, offering support to the EU Coordinator on Motorways of the Sea
• extensive involvement in data mapping exercises for IT projects in the maritime, port, and logistics sectors, working on projects like Directive 65, EMSWe, TAF-TSI, and eFTI
• a pool of top-level experts, covering all the essential requirements specified in the tender
• a far-reaching network of contacts in several non-EU countries, promising increased global cooperation and collaboration.
