ConMet is set to exhibit at IAA Transportation, September 20-25, 2022, in Hannover, Germany. The company will feature its high-performance, lightweight wheel end products and chassis components for the European market.

With over 60 years of proven expertise in research and development, engineering, design, validation, and manufacturing, ConMet expanded in 2021 to meet the unique needs of the European market. While vehicle advancements like alternative powertrains and larger, more comfortable cabs are solving some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, OEMs are working hard to offset these improvements' added weight without sacrificing vehicle performance. ConMet offers innovative iron, weight-optimized iron, and aluminum wheel end solutions for trucks and trailers, plus aluminum chassis components and housing solutions. These lightweight products, available for a range of vehicle applications, help customers achieve weight savings of up to 220 lbs. on wheel ends and 440 lbs. on chassis components when replacing ferrous solutions. This translates to optimized fuel efficiency and maximized revenue-bearing load capacity.

"Our expertise in lightweight product development and our legacy of manufacturing excellence makes ConMet the perfect fit to fulfill the critical needs of the European market," said Mike Harman, ConMet Vice President of International Sales, and General Manager of Europe. "We're excited to be at IAA this year to demonstrate how our lightweight products reduce cost and environmental impact while maximizing revenue and manufacturing efficiencies."

ConMet will exhibit at the Hannover Fairground in Hall 13, Stand A30, alongside Leichtbau BW, a collaborative network of more than 2,400 companies and more than 360 research institutes that connect customers with suppliers, project partners, and research institutes from the lightweight technology sector. ConMet’s booth will feature an up-close look at the company’s wheel end innovations, a hands-on product experience, and various aluminum chassis components.
