DHL eCommerce Solutions, a division of the world’s leading logistics company, Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) Group, announced it has been certified as Top Employer for the first time in the U.S. since the division was created in September 2018. DHL eCommerce Solutions has also been recognized as a Top Employer in 12 countries in Asia-Pacific and Europe.

“As the newest division of Deutsche Post DHL Group, we set our sights on not only being our customers’ provider of choice, but also creating a safe environment for our employees that provides growth opportunities and makes everyone feel proud to work for DHL eCommerce Solutions,” said Lee Spratt, CEO, DHL eCommerce Solutions, Americas.

The Top Employer Institute rates companies based on its HR Best Practices Survey. As part of the certification process, each country was assessed based on 400 ‘people first’ best practices across various key areas, including People Strategy, Work Environment, Engagement, Values, Diversity & Inclusion, and more.

“Considering the challenges we all faced in the past couple of years, this recognition makes it especially impactful that our diligence in implementing new initiatives that positively affect our employees’ career development, leadership journeys and our efforts in creating a culture of diversity, respect and results has been recognized,” said Enrique Bonifaz, vice president, Human Resources, DHL eCommerce Solutions, Americas.

Over the last year, DHL eCommerce Solutions has established employee initiatives that include Certified eCommerce Specialist training, employee recognition programs and celebrations, promotion of company-wide Leadership Attributes, Diversity and Inclusion discussions and campaigns, among other targeted programs.

DHL eCommerce Solutions currently has 19 distribution centers, three international export gateways and three corporate offices in the United States with more than 5,000 employees. The division is focused 100 percent on servicing B2C online merchants, shipping lightweight packages and parcels domestically and internationally.
