ECU Worldwide, a world leader in LCL consolidation, has moved the South China to Los Angeles service of its LCL Express Service ‘XLERATE’ to the high-speed ZIM ZEX service.
By utilizing the ZIM ZEX Service, ECU Worldwide offers a market leading Port to Port transit time of CY / CY 12 days from South China to Los Angeles. Changing to the ZEX service further aligns the arrival of vessels from Shenzhen and Guangzhou to Los Angeles to a Monday container availability with XLERATE’s existing Shanghai and Ningbo service, which remains on the Matson CLX service. Having the key trade lanes of Shanghai, Ningbo, Guangzhou and Shenzhen all arrive and become available on Mondays, helps synchronize our XLRERATE express team driver IPI services from Los Angeles to our 18 XLERATE CFS locations in the Central and Eastern destinations of the US.
“With the migration of XLERATE service from South China to the ZIM ZEX service, we have reaffirmed our commitment to ensure XLERATE moves on the fastest service in each respective market both from a port to port basis and an expedited gate out service at the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. We aim to become reliable partners for our freight forwarding customers by providing an easy to understand CFS to CFS express product priced per kilo that provides our customers the option to control their final-mile deliveries with their local vendor of choice,” stated Spencer Strader, Director Imports, ECU Worldwide, USA.
The ZIM ZEX service facilitates the fastest cargo movement from Guangzhou and Shenzhen in South China to Los Angeles. With the addition of the nine new XLERATE IPI CFS Locations of El Paso, Nashville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, Charlotte, Raleigh, Philadelphia and Boston, to its already existing service destinations of Dallas, Memphis, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Newark, Orlando, Tampa and Miami, XLERATE now offers express LCL services to18 inland US CFS locations.
