Leading real-time supply chain visibility platform FourKites® today announced the recipients of its annual customer awards, celebrating outstanding customer and partner accomplishments, ingenuity and collaborative initiatives that bring unparalleled value to complex supply chains. This year’s accolades include the Golden Kite Awards as well as the High Flyer Award, which recognizes individual users who advocate for visibility within their organization.
The Golden Kite Awards honor companies that are using the FourKites platform to achieve exceptional results across six categories: Improved Customer Experience, End-to-End Optimization, Supply Chain Agility, Collaboration, Network Performance Over the Road (OTR), and Network Performance Ocean.
• Cracker Barrel (Averitt Supply Chain Solutions) received the Golden Kite Award for End-to-End Optimization for its success in enabling real-time tracking of purchase orders globally, optimizing yard management, and reducing uncertainty through Dynamic Yard®. “Now, instead of being on the radio constantly and trying to track things, it is automated and it's become easier to manage the yard which is a huge win,” said Matthew McDaniel, Logistics Analytics Manager at Cracker Barrel.
• Paccar received the Golden Kite Award for Supply Chain Agility, leveraging FourKites saved reports to gain real-time visibility into inbound shipments, proactively manage delays and adjust production schedules, resulting in time savings and reduced labor costs. “The amount of time spent gathering the details was greatly reduced which led to a higher quality of work,” says Paccar Logistics Systems Manager Lee Taylor.
• Topco received the Golden Kite Award for Collaboration for integrating Tive temperature tracking devices into the FourKites platform, allowing them to monitor trailer temperatures in real-time, quickly resolve claims, and avoid costly fines. “The data takes the guesswork out of claims,” said Topco Logistics Manager John McCormack.
• FourKites debuted the Golden Kite Award for Network Performance this year, celebrating the shipper or 3PL with the highest tracking quality in the FourKites network. Nestlé US was honored for OTR tracking, and another shipper from the food and beverage industry was recognized for ocean tracking.
The High Flyer Awards honor outstanding individuals who are using FourKites to enhance ROI for their organization. As engaged participants in FourKites’ online Community, recipients influence the platform by proposing suggestions, participating in peer discussions, and sharing their own best practices for the advantage of the broader ecosystem. Award recipients this year are Jordin Katzenberger, Manager, Supply Chain Technology, Pactiv Evergreen; Chad Boswell, Analyst, C&S Wholesale; Jillian Bourbina, Global Business Process Expert, Dow; Ed Miller, Director; Transportation, Atkore; and Carrie Conrad, Transportation Systems Analyst, Land O' Lakes.
“It’s a privilege to celebrate our customers’ wins alongside them — recognizing the innovations and accomplishments that are transforming their supply chains and creating tremendous value for their own customers,” said Priya Rajagopalan, President of Product, Technology and Operations at FourKites. “Co-innovation is embedded in FourKites' DNA, with many of our best-loved features developed in close collaboration with our customers. We thank them for their continued partnership and wholeheartedly applaud their success.”
