WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018 $5,000 Annual Scholarship is Ashley Mosier. Ashley is enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA where she is working toward her Bachelor of Business Administration with plans to sit for the Customs Brokers License Examination after graduation. Currently, Ashley is employed part-time by DSV Air & Sea in Atlanta, GA.
"I was ecstatic to hear that I won and was at a complete loss of words," Ashley told the NCBFAA. "I spent two months researching and writing this essay and I'm glad my hard work paid off."
As the scholarship winner, Ashley is invited to join the NCBFAA members at their Annual Conference at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Rancho Mirage, CA, where a representative of Scholarship-sponsor Roanoke Trade will present her with the award during lunch on April 30
To qualify for the award, she submitted an essay on the timely topic, "Renegotiating NAFTA - What major changes should be considered to benefit American businesses and consumers?" which was judged by an NCBFAA panel of experts to be the winner.
