Seeking to promote economic growth and development and cultivate a relationship for mutual benefit, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) today signed a Sister Airports agreement between ATL and Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH). The agreement establishes a commitment to help improve passenger and cargo operations between the airports.
The parties see this as an opportunity to increase business, tourism, and cultural relations between ATL and Namibia. The pact is ATL’s 10th sister airport agreement and the third with an African airport system. Liberia Airport Authority and the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria are the first and second, respectively.
