An estimated 200 to 300 people clad in black shirts sat on the ground of Terminal 1’s arrivals hall, holding up signs and chanting slogans including “Free Hong Kong! Free Hong Kong!” as crowds watched from upper floors. Cathay Pacific Airlines Ltd.’s flight attendants’ union encouraged people in the aviation industry to participate and said it would allocate a specific area for its members who attended.
