Humbaur GmbH intensifies its commitment to the World´s Logistics Hall of Fame.

Ismaning near Munich - Humbaur GmbH becomes a gold sponsor and thus significantly expands its commitment to the Logistics Hall of Fame. Two of Europe's leading trailer manufacturers are now supporting the logistics initiative, as Humbaur's sister company Kögel has also been a supporter of the World´s logistics pantheon since the beginning of the year.

“We are convinced that it is part of our corporate responsibility to do something for 

the industry in which we are based. Logistics moves the world and no other initiative shows this more clearly than the Logistics Hall of Fame. We want to contribute to this,” emphasizes Ulrich Humbaur, Managing Director of Humbaur GmbH.

Humbaur offers around 420 different trailer series models for commercial and private customers and 230 models of its FlexBox vehicle bodies. With around 500 employees, the owner-managed family business produces around 52,000 trailers p.a. at the Gersthofen site – all “Made in Germany”. The expert for trailers and transport solutions from 750 kg to 50 t total weight is operating nationally and internationally and also manufactures special solutions. More than 350 retailers in Germany and 26 European countries are on hand to offer contact partners right on your doorstep.

The Logistics Hall of Fame was founded in 2003 and honours leading figures who have made outstanding efforts to promote the further development of logistics and supply chain management. This eternal pantheon is also designed to remind future generations of the achievements of these individuals in the service of logistics. The aim of the Logistics Hall of Fame is to act as a worldwide platform to publicise the performance capability of logistics and its importance for society. The Logistics Hall of Fame is a non-profit initiative supported by the world of politics, associations, the logistics industry and logistics science. The patron is Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) in Germany.
