Transport delays are expected across the southeast coast of the US as Florida's Atlantic cost prepares for Hurricane Dorian to make landfall early on Monday.
Hurricane Dorian has already swept across the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico this week and is now forecast to be a Category 4 storm (with sustained winds of 130 mph) by the time it makes its expected landfall, the National Hurricane Center reports.
With safety a priority for all, it is expected that truckers, warehouses, airports and ocean ports in the affected area will reduce or cease operations until the storm has passed.
This may cause delays to collections, deliveries and air/ocean arrivals and departures throughout next week following US Labour Day holiday on Monday. Service delays may be expected once weather clears due to the potential backlog.
