Pilot Thomas Logistics technician takes the 11 millionth PRO-TREAD lesson

Vancouver, Washington –  Instructional Technologies Inc. (ITI), providers of training solutions for the transportation industry including PRO-TREAD online training content and the Sentix training automation platform, today announced that its 11 millionth lesson has been completed by Kalayo Bamigboye, a Frac Technician with Pilot Thomas Logistics in Odessa, Texas. To celebrate the milestone event, ITI COO Nathan Stahlman presented Bamigboye with several prizes.

“Our 11 millionth lesson was taken just 7.7 months after the ten millionth lesson,” Stahlman said. “That means more than 130,000 of our PRO-TREAD lessons are being taken every month. On average that’s more than 4,300 lessons per day and one new lesson is being started every 20 seconds.”

ITI, which celebrates every millionth lesson taken, took 9.7 months days to get from nine to ten million lessons. The company provided its one-millionth lesson in 2007 and has been steadily shortening the interval between million mile marks since that time.

The 11 millionth ITI lesson taken by Kalayo Bamigboye was on Hazmat Communication Rules, along with a few other custom and hosted courses the same day. Bamigboye, who currently teams with another driver and travels to oilfields to fuel machinery and vehicles, is working toward earning his CDL.

ITI is known for its effective mastery learning training strategy, an instructional method by which the student must 'master' each subject before moving to the next subject. The online strategy is proven to improve employee safety behaviors and provide defensible proof that students have mastered a topic. With ITI, fleets have the flexibility to use off-the-shelf PRO-TREAD lessons, engage ITI’s PRO-SERVICE team to develop customized content, and use ITI's secure hosting services for their own content.
