Ajlouny previously served as the association’s vice chairman. She succeeds Brett Mears, president of Palmer Logistics based in Houston, Texas, who becomes IWLA immediate past chairman.
IWLA also announces its other officers:
    •    Jared Stadlin, vice president of Linden Warehouse and Distribution, in Linden, N.J., ascends to vice chairman and chairman-elect from the treasurer position;

    •    Peter Wilson, president & CEO of Sonwil Distribution Center, in Buffalo, N.Y., is secretary/treasurer.
“Taking the helm during a worldwide pandemic, Leslie has hit the ground running to ensure IWLA still delivers on its promises to the industry. Her leadership is shaping the first-ever IWLA virtual convention and will help us navigate how to offer distanced services in this new reality,” DeHaan adds.
Ajlouny will remain IWLA chairman throughout the 2021 IWLA Convention & Expo, March 21-23, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas.
