Jared W. Perdue, P.E., a distinguished transportation professional and policy leader has been honored with the International Road Federation’s highest individual recognition on the opening day of the IRF Global R2T Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Established in 1951, IRF’s Man (or Woman) of the Year award celebrates exemplary professionals from public, private, and academic sectors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the road transport industry. Over the years, this prestigious accolade has highlighted the achievements of the world’s most influential transport leaders for their contributions to advocacy, policy development, research, and educational initiatives that promote safer, more sustainable road networks worldwide.

Mr. Perdue is being celebrated for his exceptional leadership in the transportation sector, exemplified during his tenure at the Florida Department of Transportation. His steadfast commitment to advancing road safety, implementing emerging technology initiatives, and overseeing innovative infrastructure projects has left a lasting impact on the industry and the communities he has served.
