Her previous experience includes life science companies Aptevo Therapeutics and Silverback Therapeutics. She served as Head of Facilities and Operations at Aptevo and, most recently, as Senior Director of Facilities and Operations at Silverback.

Last month, Kidder Mathews announced another new leader in Asset Services. Mark Butcher, CPM® joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Asset Services in Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Butcher and Ray will work closely together, with one of their primary focuses being expanding the company’s life science portfolio.

“We are fortunate to have hired Heidi, as her background and leadership style is that of a client-first mentality,” said Paul Klink, President of Kidder Mathews Asset & Client Services. “She possesses the technical and people skills that will help her lead our in-house engineering teams and at the same time be a resource to our clients as they continue to reposition assets, especially in the life science sector.”

“I chose Kidder Mathews because it is clear they are focused on becoming best in class asset management professionals,” said Ray. “Every building needs a champion, so we are in the business of building champions.”

The Kidder Mathews commercial asset services group is one of the largest on the West Coast. The division manages 62 million square feet of industrial, office, retail, and medical/research properties for a diverse clientele including institutional and private investors, public agencies, corporations, and non-profit organizations. The managed portfolio represents over $11 billion in assets under management.
