Lion Air (flight code JT) member of Lion Air Group remark the milestone after 19 years take part in flight operations and entering the end of Boeing 747-300 operation with flight registration PK-LHG.

Aircraft with wide body category is the only one Lion Air fleet with double deck configuration. Since being operated on April 23, 2009 by Lion Air, the Boeing 747-400 give flying experience with a capacity of 12 business class seats and 492 economy classes.

The Airbus 330-900NEO wide-body aircraft will be delivered in stages according to schedule and planned to arrive in Indonesia in May 2019. This year, Lion Air will receive two aircraft.
Lion Air in 2018 has ordered ten (10) Airbus 330-900NEO units and has the option of obtaining four similar aircraft. The ten planes are scheduled for delivery to Lion Air Group in 2019 and 2020.
Lion Air has prepared optimally related operations of the 330-900NEO Airbus, such as human resources (pilots, cabin crew, technicians), ground services (ground handling), training centers and other related matters.

Moreover, the 330NEO Airbus adds major features from the airspace cabin, a new design of the cabin luggage compartment (overhead bin) that allows it to more easily manage and store lots of luggage in the cabin.
The presence of Airbus 330NEO to expand the Lion Air network or route, strengthen the fleet and complete the wide body that Lion Air has operated, namely three Airbus A330-300 (440 economy class).
