Elkhart, Ind. — Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI), a leading designer and manufacturer of mattresses serving a wide variety of markets, has introduced their latest somnum Sleeper Series mattress for the heavy truck market. The new somnum Escape 10” gel-infused foam mattress promotes a comfortable and cool resting environment for commercial drivers and owner operators.
Within its premium, Euro top design, the somnum Escape boasts a 2” gel-infused foam top layer that promotes cool comfort for Class 8 drivers. The gel foam rests upon a high-density 7” foam base, and together, they create a sleep surface for truck drivers that is just as supportive as it is comfortable. Consistent with the other somnum Sleeper Series truck mattress models, the Escape’s quilted cover features a premium knit ticking with an added inch of luxury comfort foam quilted right into the cover.
The somnum Escape 10” gel-infused foam mattress is available through all Freightliner and Western Star dealers, as well as independent somnum distributors. It comes in four sizes: 35”x79”, 36”x76”, 38”x80”, and 42”x 80”. Contact [email protected] to find a dealer near you.
LCI continues to expand their somnum Sleeper Series truck mattress line to mitigate some of the negative aspects of long-haul truck driving. LCI recognizes that not all drivers or sleeper configurations are the same, and therefore, may require unique mattress specifications. The somnum Escape is made from materials that allow the body to maintain a cooler temperature while at rest, leaving drivers better rested and ready to take on the challenges of the road.
All somnum mattresses manufactured by Lippert Components are produced in an ISO certified facility and are made in America. LCI has been producing quality mattresses since 1997. Combined, LCI’s Goshen, Indiana and Nampa, Idaho facilities produce over 3,000 mattresses every day. The 1,100-plus team member workforce in LCI’s mattress divisions, and all LCI-operated production facilities, are encouraged to impact their communities through quality business practices, social outreach, and volunteerism.
