Controlled temperature storage for new 3,620sqm facility at Brussels airport

Brussels, Belgium and Scherfede, Germany - Lödige Industries, the leading global provider of air cargo handling solutions, has announced that it has completed works for Swissport’s new Pharma Centre at Brussels airport.

Swissport announced earlier this year that it has signed a long-term lease and is investing several million Euros in equipment and fittings for the new facility which has been built by Brussels Airport Company. The new Swissport Pharma Centre features an increased surface area for pharmaceutical products and ambient pharma space (+15˚ to +25˚C) and an expanded cooling facility (+2˚ to +8˚C). Lödige Industries has delivered castor decks for build and breakdown of ULDs in both temperature controlled areas and installed existing truck docks, roller and right angle decks for direct transport to road feeder services.
