Maersk announced an increase in all contract rates expiring January 31st as set out below. The rate increase for the relevant trade for various commodities and container types is:

Note: Your sales contact at Maersk will be sending you contract documents to sign to secure this new rate. If Maersk does not receive your written agreement a sufficient time-period in advance of February 1st 2019, then any shipments tendered shall be charged at a higher tariff rate until Maersk is able to obtain your written agreement and has sufficient time to file that agreement with the Federal Maritime Commission.
