Marguisa Shipping Lines, the shipping company of the Sea & Ports group, has appointed Wasa Projects & Chartering as its general agent in Brazil as of January 2021. This is part of the ongoing expansion plans with full container services followed by the existing express and exclusive Ro-Ro services to West Africa. 

With more than 30 years of experience and its fully-fledged infrastructure in the main West African ports but mainly in Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tomé & Principe, Douala, Cotonou, Lomé among other ports in the region, Marguisa Shipping Lines counts with own fleet of ships in the full container weekly services from the main worldwide ports. “We are already present in Brazil through our first-class Ro-Ro service to West Africa and with SOC (our own containers) via Feeder services with transshipment in Tanger and Algeciras to the above-named African ports”, said Andrés Cadenas, Head of Sales and Marketing at Marguisa.

These, Tanger and Algeciras, will be the connecting ports for the Brazilian export cargoes, confirms Gilberto Lima, the Managing Director of Wasa Projects.
