A Container Compliance Charge of USD 8 per 20’ and USD 16 per 40’/45’ will be introduced effective October 1st, 2020 (POL gate in date).

The Container Compliance Charge shall cover the carrier’s costs with respect to inspecting the container for damages, verifying that it remains seaworthy, and performing necessary repairs. Such costs should not exceed USD 500 per container.

If maintenance and repair costs for any container exceeds USD 500, the customer will be responsible to pay the difference between the Carrier’s documented M&R invoice and USD 500.

The Container Compliance Charge shall not apply to reefer units, special equipment, or shipper-owned units
