Effective from 1st August 2019 all trades except USA (Effective date USA August 2nd 2019), MSC will implement an Operations Cost Contribution (OCC) in YEMEN.
The OCC will be applied to all import cargoes destined for Yemen.
The implementation of this new charge intends to cover operational costs incurred at port.
This fee is a local charge that should be manifested and applied per container basis as follows:
The OCC charge shall be settled by the freight paying party. If freight is on “prepaid” basis, the OCC will be “prepaid”. If the Freight is on “collect or Elsewhere” basis, OCC will be “collect or elsewhere”.
