Marine Terminals Corp. recently appointed Tom Cremer to the new position of vice president/general manager, sales and contracts, General Stevedoring Division.

Cremer joins MTC with more than 25 years of maritime industry experience, which included key product, operations and sales management roles with both asset-based (carrier) and non-asset-based (3PLs/forwarding) firms. His most recent position was general manager for International Intermodal Express (IIX) at APL Logistics. Other management and operations assignments include FedEx Trade Networks and Freight Solutions International, Direct Container Line (NVO), Sea-Land and Hanjin.

In his new position at MTC, Cremer will be stationed in its So. Cremer will report to Don Wylie, MTC executive vice president of general stevedoring services, who has this to say about Cremer’s appointment.

“MTC is fortunate to have someone of Tom’s caliber join our organization,” Wylie said. “Tom’s experience will bolster our already strong sales team for the mutual benefit of our customers and Marine Terminals Corp.”
