New Orleans Terminal delivered on Mediterranean Shipping Company’s expectation to deliver every service required from a world-class marine terminal facility
New Orleans Terminal has set a new record at PORT NOLA, Louisiana. Last week, the world-class marine terminal facility handled the highest container volume from a single vessel, the MSC ALICANTE. The 5500 TEU vessel is from MSC’s Transatlantic North Europe, NEUALT3 Service. New Orleans Terminal’s operations began at 7:00 AM, February 18, 2021 and were completed at 5:00 PM on February 19, 2021. 2,368 containers were discharged.
Despite the ongoing issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic, New Orleans Terminal LLC (NOT) has been hard at work refining and streamlining its processes used daily in its extensive marine container terminal operations. The terminal is located in the heart of the Uptown Wharves at the Port of New Orleans, Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal Complex.
