Russia stopped oil products shipments to the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk on Tuesday due to “criminal tapping” of the pipeline, a subsidiary of Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said. Baltnefteprovod said some oil products had spilled from the Vtorovo - Primorsk trunk pipeline in Leningrad region due to the illegal tapping. It added that oil product exports, mostly diesel, from Primorsk had not been suspended as the company was using reservoirs to make up for the disruption in shipments.
