DENVER, CO - OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held transportation services companies in North America and an affiliate of The Broe Group, named SC2, Inc. as the recipient of its Third Annual Supplier of the Year Award. SC2, which provides OmniTRAX Energy Solutions, LLC’s affiliate Arrows Up, LLC with a wide variety of fabrication, industrial finishing and manufacturing support solutions, will receive a crystal trophy August 28, 2018 at the Third Annual OmniTRAX Annual Golf Tournament to be played at the Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, CO.
As voted by the OmniTRAX Supplier Council and Procurement Team members, SC2 is receiving the 2017 “Supplier of the Year” award based on strong performance deliverables in safety, project completion, on time shipments and superb communication/response to our requirements. The company, which is based in Peoria. Ill. and has locations throughout Illinois and in Waco, Texas, was also cited for its efforts to improve performance.
OmniTRAX selects the supplier of year based on a scorecard system and careful consideration by company’s Supplier Council, which is made up of six managers from different departments including the procurement division. Suppliers are evaluated in six categories, including Safety Performance, Value Engineering, On Time/Early Project Completion, Workmanship Quality, and new Technology/Innovation.

- Scored 92 out of 100 points on the Supplier Scorecard
