PICKUP, an enterprise-grade, last-mile delivery solution provider for leading retailers, commercial and industrial businesses, today highlights the momentum of the company’s technology team, led by Jason Zubrick as Chief Technology Officer and Tim Delgado as VP of Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Jason Zubrick brings more than 17 years of experience in managing and developing the strategic direction for enterprise-wide technology teams. Prior to PICKUP, he served as CTO for defi Solutions and in numerous technology roles at GameStop. As CTO, Zubrick drives PICKUP’s long-term technology strategy and vision, oversees day-to-day technology operations, and leverages emerging technologies to bring increased performance, security and features to market.
Under the direction of PICKUP’s technology leadership, the company has created a defined and documented security program, and completed SOC 2 Type 1 compliance certification with new security features that will further disrupt the logistics and last-mile supply chain industry. The certification demonstrates the company’s ability to implement critical security policies to protect customer and partner data. What’s more, new features and systems added to the ecosystem will have these security policies automatically integrated.
PICKUP’s end-to-end delivery solution, PICKUP Fusion, is powered by people and technology to support the delivery of big, heavy and high value items. PICKUP eliminates complexities by providing customers with what they need, when they need it through seamless delivery experiences — supporting in-store, ecommerce and omni-channel services. The solution offers real-time visibility to scheduling, tracking, confirmation and feedback.
The cloud-based platform is a cohesive architecture and technology stack, allowing PICKUP to move quickly and without boundaries. Its omni-channel capabilities allow brands to handle full-assortment delivery for their entire catalog, exposing inventory that may not have previously been available via traditional e-commerce transactions. In addition, PICKUP’s technology measures market-based capacity of both supply and demand to meet delivery windows and ensure customers have the best possible delivery experience.
“The key to the success of PICKUP’s platform is the technology team’s decades of experience across a variety of industries,” said Brenda Stoner, founder and CEO, PICKUP. “Our team is building platforms and services that provide easy and reliable delivery experiences that meet our customers’ present needs, as well as ensuring that future experiences keep customers happy and loyal.”
On the heels of a $15M Series B funding round announced in March, PICKUP’s technology team continues to improve its solution to further accelerate the company’s rapid growth.
