After a most challenging task to coordinate with different authorities within short time for the necessary paper works to move a time critical shipment of over 21 meters long rails for the MTR in Hong Kong from the airport to the final jobsite, Wangfoong managed to finish the works from paper to operations within one week and started the operation on a rainy Christmas Eve in 2018 with delivery on time the next day.
For the same MTR project Wangfoong engaged one of their heavylift barges and tugs to the Hong Kong Port Terminal to collect rails with more then 28 meter lenght and delivered them to the receivers berth for overland transportation to the final jobsite.
Wangfoong provides own barging in Hong Kong for more than 30 years and experienced in project cargo in Hong Kong and is the member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Hong Kong.
