Surgere, a pioneer in IoT supply chain technology, has launched their Package Specification Management supply chain solution, formerly known as USPEC, for automotive parts manufacturers in Asia that began in Thailand at the end of May.

This officially marks Surgere’s expansion into the APAC marketplace. Malaysia, India, and Indonesia are set to go online in early fall.  Surgere is in talks with China, Japan, and Korea to go online towards the first of the year.  The expansion also represents new language features available in Surgere’s software, including Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.  Surgere projects the program to be utilized in over 58 client facilities.

“We’re excited to expand our Package Specification Management solution into Asia and support many of our tier 1 and 2 clients’ growth and global reach,” said William Wappler, CEO Surgere.  “We look to increase the use of our program to other industry parts manufacturers in Asia.”

The Surgere Package Specification Management will help automotive parts manufacturers streamline the management of the packaging specification process in Asian plants, enabling accurate packaging data collection, real-time reporting, and the aggregation of quotes for packaging. The scope for the project includes 58 client facility locations.

Surgere has been implementing their Package Specification Management solution in the U.S. since 2015 and with this expansion, it is now available in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.
