Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met with Prime Minister of Vietnam Phạm Minh Chính as part of his official visit to the United States for the U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit. During their meeting, Secretary Raimondo and Prime Minister Chính discussed the U.S.-Vietnam commercial relationship and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. The Secretary and Prime Minister also discussed two upcoming Department of Commerce-led trade missions that will have mission stops in Vietnam. The Clean EDGE (Energy) Trade Mission will take place June 6-13 with official mission stops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and the Healthcare Trade Mission will take place in September with a stop in Hanoi.
