As SeaLand continues to monitor Hurricane Delta, the safety of its teams and cargo operations remains their top priority. SeaLand want to keep its customers informed on a frequent basis about how the storms may affect the supply chain on the U.S. gulf coast.
SeaLand’s operational team is in constant touch with the US Coast Guard and Port leaders to ensure the latest updates.
Life-threatening storm surge is expected near and east where Hurricane Delta makes landfall this evening,and a Storm Surge Warning is in effect from High Island, Texas to the mouth of the Paerl River. Hurricane-force winds are expected this afternoon and evening within portions of the Hurricane Warning area, especially along the coast of southwest Louisiana.

Condition Whiskey (IV): The ALERT condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 72 hours.
Condition X-Ray (III): The READINESS condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 48 hours.
Condition Yankee (II): The WARNING condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 24 hours.
Condition Zulu (I): The DANGER condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 12 hours and until the storm has passed and is no longer a threat.
