Users now have access to a direct-to-carrier contract pricing solution delivered through the secure SMC³ Platform.
ATLANTA - SMC³ has announced that MercuryGate International, Inc., a leader in transportation management system solutions, is the launch TMS provider for its new less-than-truckload pricing API. MercuryGate TMS users now have access to a best-in-class, direct-to-carrier contract pricing solution delivered through the secure SMC³ Platform.
SMC³’s pricing API is the newest tool in the company’s ever-growing collection of Execution and Visibility APIs – solutions that are tailored for efficient, fast and powerful direct-to-carrier communications. These APIs are delivered through the SMC³ Platform, an innovative hub of LTL transportation technology solutions.
The contract pricing API gives shippers, 3PLs and other MercuryGate users direct access to their negotiated contract pricing, including accessorial charges, for multiple carriers from within MercuryGate’s TMS. MercuryGate customers also now have access to the SMC³ imaging API, which provides users with a range of key shipping documents in real time during each shipment’s journey through the supply chain.
When MercuryGate customers combine direct-to-carrier APIs with industrial-strength, analytical APIs like RateWare® XL and CarrierConnect® XL, the SMC³ Platform delivers a range of unequaled API solutions that give users an array of options to address their specific LTL needs.
“MercuryGate is one of the top TMS providers in the industry, and Monica and her team have been valued SMC³ partners for years,” said Andrew Slusher, president and CEO of SMC³. “As the launch TMS provider for our pricing API, MercuryGate is making a commitment to providing its customers with best-in-breed APIs that optimize the complete LTL shipment lifecycle.”
By further solidifying its relationship with SMC³, MercuryGate is giving its clients continued access to SMC³’s innovative API solutions, which simplify complex LTL pricing models and provide the most up-to-date information to ensure real-time shipment visibility.
“We are pleased to provide our customers with access to the latest API solutions available. MercuryGate has strong product offerings in both carrier management and fleet operations, and recognizes SMC³’s leadership in LTL data and technology,” said Monica Wooden, CEO and co-founder, MercuryGate International, Inc. “This expansion of our work together supports our commitment to serving all modes of transportation seamlessly, while providing complete visibility throughout the lifecycle of any shipment, from invoice to delivery.”
