LEXINGTON, S.C. – Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Matt Brown has been promoted to service center manager in Macon, Georgia.

With over 14 years of experience at Southeastern, Brown started his career at the Atlanta service center as a part-time freight handler. Since then, he has served a variety of roles, including full-time freight handler, outbound supervisor, outbound operations manager and most recently, assistant service center manager in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Matt’s dedication to our mission of providing quality without question service, combined with his positive attitude and willingness to serve others, are just a few ways he continues to be an asset to the Southeastern team,” said Matt Smith, regional vice president of operations. “He is a proven leader who has helped his team thrive over the past decade. We look forward to his continued growth as he takes on this new role as service center manager in Macon.”

Brown will relocate with his wife, Nikki, and two children, and looks forward to serving the Southeastern team in this new capacity.
