The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has appointed ESG Consultancy, a leading firm specializing in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria as the independent validator for BlueSky assessments.
TIACA has selected ESG Consultancy as its independent validator to continue to support the air cargo industry on its sustainability transformation journey. The agreement with ESG Consultancy will ensure the current methodology and protocols for the BlueSky program developed by TIACA and Change Horizon are maintained for current and future participants.
“We are excited to work with ESG Consultancy as the newest independent validator for BlueSky. They have shown alignment with key principles that were part of the development of the BlueSky Program. Their expertise and knowledge of ESG standards will only add value to the BlueSky Program.” said Steven Polmans, Chair, TIACA
“We are thrilled and honored to be appointed as the independent validator for the BlueSky assessments. Our expertise in ESG will ensure that sustainability in the air cargo industry is not just a goal but a reality.” Francine Carron, CEO, ESG Consultancy NV
BlueSky is a sustainability assessment, validation, and verification program, designed to track a company’s sustainability progress, benchmark against peers and accelerate the air cargo industry’s transformation to a sustainable future.
The BlueSky program offers companies the opportunity to not only assess where they are on their sustainability journey, but it allows them to commit to improving programs across eight key objectives set out within TIACA’s Air Cargo Sustainability Roadmap. By having a BlueSky independent assessment, companies can identify areas that may need improvement. The assessment results are completely confidential and will only be shared by the participant themselves.
“ESG Consultancy has shown a commitment to ensure that the BlueSky assessments are conducted with the same high standards as previous assessments. We look forward to working with them as we continue to develop the program.
