London-based Beacon, the next generation freight forwarding and supply chain finance company, has appointed Brenton Booth as Head of Supply Chain Finance. Brenton joined the company on 1 April.
Prior to joining Beacon, Brenton ran his own strategy and product development consultancy working with financial services companies and fintechs in the creation of new trade, working capital finance and logistics solutions.
Brenton has held various other senior management and business turnaround roles in both mid-sized and global banks in EMEA and also held the role of Chairperson for a large NGO in South Africa. He has a BCom and a MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Africa and the Gordon Institute of Business Science, respectively.
Commenting on Brenton’s appointment, Beacon co-founder and CEO Fraser Robinson said: “We are delighted that Brenton has joined the Beacon team. Newly appointed Head of Supply Chain Finance Brenton Booth added: “I am excited to be joining Beacon as it continues on its rapid growth trajectory. My focus is using technology and data to inform the design and delivery of new client experiences and business solutions in the areas of supply chain finance and logistics, and I am very much looking forward to helping Beacon become a leader in these areas.”
