CLI’s FACTS software is streamlining operations and improving visibility for the LTL and final mile services provider
Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI), veteran providers of freight management software for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) fleets, today announced that Unified Logistic Services, Inc. is streamlining its growing operation with CLI’s FACTS solution. The Hialeah, Florida-based company is an LTL and final mile services provider.
Founded in 2005, Unified Logistic Services provides LTL and final mile services throughout south Florida for multiple trucking companies and shippers. The privately owned and operated company hauls freight to and from its cross-dock facility. About 85% of its business is LTL freight and it has realized steady growth by meeting retail and e-commerce fulfillment needs.
Unified Logistic Services installed CLI FACTS software in the fall of 2020 to replace an existing platform that did not provide the functionality Unified required. FACTS’s LTL focused features were a major selling point for the company, along with recommendations from two of its largest carrier partners in the Midwest and on the West Coast who were using FACTS.
Today, the company uses FACTS for shipment entry through CLI-enabled EDI integrations with its carrier and shipper partners, dispatching and financial management, including billing and driver settlement processes.
“As its shipment volume has increased, Unified Logistic Services has been able to rely on our FACTS software to not only manage its growing business but also to streamline its back office and operations processes,” said Ben Wiesen, president of CLI. “We are pleased they have chosen CLI to provide them with our freight management software developed specifically for LTL and last mile operations.”
Carrier Logistics FACTS is the premier solution for meeting the unique transportation and freight management needs of asset-based LTL carriers and the last mile industry. FACTS includes online customer shipping tools, dispatch and driver management, a superior rate engine, cross dock management, and a full back-office suite that give transportation professionals the tools they need to operate cost-effectively while providing improved freight visibility to their customers.
