Unilode Aviation Solutions, the leading global provider of outsourced Unit Load Device (ULD) management and repair solutions, has opened a new ULD and galley cart repair centre in Hong Kong.

The repair centre has an area of around 3000 m2 and will employ up to 30 repair technicians, who will carry out ULD repair, ULD assembly, pallet net repair and inflight equipment maintenance and repair services. The facility will also be used as a storage centre for Unilode's newly launched ULD leasing solutions, and as a logistics, storage and repair centre for Envirotainer. The certifications of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) are expected to be received in the coming weeks.
