United Airlines Teamsters will rally, leaflet, and kick off informational picket at airports nationwide. The aviation technicians demand an industry-leading contract after negotiations with United Airlines stalled during the most recent round of contract negotiations in Denver.

The action is taking place during one of the busiest days for air travel all year. The Teamsters, who represent nearly 10,000 technicians at the carrier, are united for industry-leading wages, improved health care benefits, and better safety standards. The union is calling for United to stop outsourcing fleet maintenance to foreign repair stations, a practice that puts United Airlines workers and everyday passengers at risk.
