The statewide logistics study examined key aspects of transportation, distribution, supply chain dynamics, and goods movement across Utah. It identified significant trends, risks, and opportunities for investment that would enhance the efficiency, reduce congestion, and improve the overall effectiveness of the region's freight infrastructure. The study also outlines how these changes will impact UIPA's project areas and the Intermountain West as a whole.
At the open house, representatives from UIPA and the consulting firms CPCS and WSP–who helped conduct the study–will present the findings. Attendees will learn about UIPA’s mission and vision, explore the details of current project economic areas, and hear about the economic and sustainability benefits for Utahns.
Topics include:
- UIPA’s mission, vision, and objectives
- Key findings from the statewide logistics study
- Updates on current project area plans
- Economic opportunities and job creation for Utah residents
- UIPA’s sustainability initiatives and long-term commitments
The open house is open to the public, and participants will have the chance to ask questions, provide feedback, and engage in discussions with UIPA officials and other industry stakeholders.
