Van rates hit highest mark since January

Dec 2-8 - Eight days into December, the national average van rate jumped up to $1.94 per mile. That’s 11¢ higher than the November average. The load-to-truck ratio for vans doubled compared to the previous week, due to pent-up demand following the shortened holiday workweek.
